Hotel Engine has now partnered with the State of Texas to provide you with deeply discounted, state approved rates for KIPP business travel– same company, same login (www.hotelengine.com) – but two possible accounts with different attributes. Your login (email) directs you to the appropriate platform.
- All reservations for the State of Texas platform are pay upon arrival reservations (rather than prepaid) – this is how tax exemption can be granted at the hotel
- You will have access to exclusive State of Texas negotiated rates (State of Texas travelers have saved nearly 16% vs the GSA rate benchmark)
- This platform does not offer Hotel Engine rewards points, but hotel brands are much more likely to grant you brand-specific rewards points since more bookings will be direct with the hotel.
To sign up for a work travel account, you must use your KIPP Texas email. To sign up for a personal travel account, you must use your personal email.
